2026 New Year’s Dance

Happy New Year, Everyone!

What an incredible night at the Lake Gaston Shag Club!
Thank you to everyone who came out, filled the dance floor, shared snacks, and made the evening such a blast. The smiles, the laughter, and the energy were absolutely contagious.

A huge shout‑out to Kem Overby for volunteering his time to teach shag lessons. Kem, you had the room buzzing and the dance floor packed before the music even started.

And let’s give a big round of applause to Gene Coker, who kept the party rolling all night long. Gene delivered great music, great vibes, and nonstop fun.

Nights like this remind us why we love this club so much.
Thanks for showing up, showing out, and keeping the spirit of shag alive at Lake Gaston.  Can’t wait to do it all again!
